HeavyGlow Flash Fiction is a bi-annually published web magazine that features stirring and powerful works of literature and creative writing. These featurettes are comprised of no more than 750 words and are very often less than 500 words. HeavyGlow Flash Fiction is not considered a genre publication because we publish anything and everything that makes a powerful impact. This is one of the few places where literary/mainstream works can bump elbows with fantasy, sci-fi, spec-fic, horror, and even romantic pieces of flash fiction. The only things we will not publish are poetry and traditional non-fiction. But, if you disguise your truth as lies, we'll even give non-fiction a go as long as it adheres to our easy but non-negotiable guidelines.
HeavyGlow was founded in 2005 and is produced, edited, and published by Stacy Taylor. In 2007 the first HeavyGlow Flash Fiction Anthology became available for purchase and has thus far received excellent reviews and commentary.
